Modern is a form that makes the dancer one with the music in every aspect of the dance. It uses combinations of controlled and loose movements, breathing, and formations to create a picture of the music for the audience.
Polynesian dance comes from the islands in and around Hawaii. Our authentic steps and dances teach students aspects of the island culture and rich history. Styles are true to their unique island traditions such as Maoran, Tahitian, Ancient, and others.
Baton teaches basic passes, finger-twirls, tosses, and more. Students learn solid hand/eye coordination, good balance, enhanced dexterity.
